I’ve got a Gatsby themed party coming up, and in my search for a fringed dress that I was going to love enough to wear again, I found a website called ‘ I saw it first.’ I downloaded the app and instantly started building up a mental wishlist of everything I want to buy.
Maternity pay is a killer, and finding clothing bargains has become my favourite past time. I don’t get to treat myself often, but I really relish in it when I do. The app is easy to use and there are regularly deals and discounts, with plenty of items for every occasion.
Take a look at my top ten picks:
1. Nude Belted Sleeveless Tailored Jumpsuit
You’ll have to excuse me throughout this, because my head is 100% focused on getting new items for my return to work wardrobe, but this jumpsuit is perfect for work and play. Love that it is belted and this can easily go from summer to winter with a roll neck underneath.
2. Blue Embroidered Tassle Hem Playsuit
This look is a much bolder one, but is giving off lots of Grecian goddess vibes. This is a great holiday evening look with either sandals or heels.
3. Red Check Asymmetric Button Front Midi Skirt
This skirt is an absolute steal and definitely going to be my next purchase. The check pattern is very me too but a bit more ‘grown up’ than my usual mini skirt!
4. Blue Check Cycling Shorts
Not one for the faint-hearted but these cycling shorts are completely practical for the summer if you’re a mum. I’ve not seen them in this pattern anywhere else and can easily be worn under a t shirt dress if you aren’t brave enough for a crop top.
5. White Chain Buckle Detail Bum Bag
This is a twist on the classic bum bag. It is so smart and different, especially is you want something classy but also practical. I’m OBSESSED. I can keep my phone and money close by but also look great!
6. Wine Faux Fur Shoulder Bag
I love a bit of fur and a furry bag is a fresh statement piece for a night out or dinner. This is the cheapest I’ve found so far and the colour is a nice winter to spring transition.
7. Yellow Animal print Plunge Long Sleeve Bodysuit
This is looks so great with high waisted jeans and will suit and flatter all shapes and sizes. If you love animal print too, then the yellow gives it a nice summery twist.
8. Black Polka Dot Flare Sleeve Top
The sleeves on this are gorgeous and polka dot is such a timeless print. I’d really recommend this top to any ladies who are also pregnant. Get it a few sizes bigger and it’ll glide nicely over your bump.
9 . Black Tiered Fringed Blazer Dress
On my search for a fringed dress I found this little number. I love the way the fringing sits on the thigh and it is a fresh alternative to the classic blazer dress.
10. Pink Belted Wide Leg Cropped Trousers
These are super bright and you’ve got to be super brave to wear them, but the shape is just so flattering for ladies who carry their weight on their legs like me.
